TELLURIDE REAL ESTATE CORPORATION

In 1980, ski area owner Ron Allred and businessman T.D. Smith approached Steve Catsman, a restaurant owner, about becoming the first founding broker of their new company, the Telluride Real Estate Corporation. A partnership was formed.

In the beginning of the 1990s, five partners, including Steve Catsman and T.D. Smith, bought out Allred. In the past decade, T.R.E.C. has grown from 8 brokers to over 30, and has become the undisputable leader in Telluride real estate.
